The purse has 2 straps; one is 8 1/2" long and has a lobster claw clasp for securely fastening this purse to the outside of any bag. The other strap is a made of shoestring material and is about 16" long. The length of this strap turns this into a little purse to carry cell phone, keys and credit card. There is a snap on the inside to secure your items.
