"We had a Member-Guest with the theme "Around the World in 18 Holes". It turned out great! We had flags on each hole and a worksheet for each foursome to guess the country. The Clubhouse walls were decorated with travel posters. Members were asked in October to start collecting postcards from their travels. Blank postcards were spread out down the center of the tables. The table centerpieces were 12 packs of beer from around the world!(Wine or bottled water would work,too)
We had food stations starting with Italy-Italian wedding soup & brushetta, followed by France-caesar salad and french bread, Mexico-taco bar, and ending with America for dessert-apple pie and ice cream.
Photos of the foursomes were taken with a faux background of the leaning tower of Pisa."

We recently received an order with a gift note that said “Our flowers to you…When you wear this pendant, think of Rick.” We were so impressed with the creativity of this gift we sent the customer a $25 gift certificate.
Historically, flowers have been a way to show sympathy and concern for a loved one who has died. However, this customer was creative enough to give a gift that will be a lasting reminder of their friendship.
Although we sell sports jewelry we think this concept of giving a lasting memento is an excellent idea. So “instead of flowers” think of a shared activity or memory and send a lasting gift.
